Fresno Inks Deal with Marcoux
Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons announced today that the
team has agreed to terms with defenseman Daryl Marcoux for the
2007-08 season.
Marcoux made a brief appearance in the ECHL last season with the
Trenton Titans, going scoreless in two games. During a four-season
run at Princeton University, the 23-year-old tallied five goals and
added 11 assists for 16 points to go along with 78 penalty
minutes.
"Daryl provides us with another young, capable first-year
defenseman," Thomas said. "He comes highly recommended by his
college coach, former Falcon player and coach Guy Gadowsky."
The Falcons open the 2007-08 season on Friday, October 19, hosting
the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:30 p.m. for an Opening Night
Extravaganza, presented by Eye Q Vision Care. The first 1,000 kids
12 and under receive a replica Falcons' jersey.
