Torrential rains washed out Harvard men’s hockey practice at Frozen Fenway yesterday, but the Crimson-clad skaters still enjoyed a walkthrough as preparation continued for tonight’s game against Union.

“It was cool,” said first-line senior center Alex Killorn, who paces the Crimson with nine goals. “It’s not often you get to see the locker room of a team that you go to games to watch in another sport. To go under the stands in the locker room lets you see it in a different light. So it’s nice to see it in that setting. It’s a cool feeling.”

Killorn, who grew up skating outdoors at Windemere Park in the Beaconsfield suburb of his native Montreal, said Harvard can ill-afford to let the ol’ ball yard serve as a distraction.
