Leblanc Just in Time to Beef Up Dogs' Offense
The following article featuring former Harvard standout Louis Leblanc appeared in the January 6 issue of the Hamilton Spectator.

Although he obviously would rather be playing for the English-speaking coach in the French town than the French-speaking coach in the English town, this is a good time for Louis Leblanc to return to the Hamilton Bulldogs.
The Dogs are facing a three-game weekend, beginning with a home date against Syracuse Friday night, then a solid week of practice followed by another three-in-three weekend. The offensively challenged Dogs have been starting to make the occasional goal-scoring noise of late so it will help move things in that direction with a week of workouts to meld a guy back into the lineup whose professional hockey forte is going to be scoring.
Leblanc has played only 14 games for the Bulldogs, the same number he got into with the parent Montreal Canadiens before being returned to the farm late Thursday night as the Habs start to get some of their injured forwards back. He’d been called up Nov. 28, and scored his first NHL goal on Dec. 15 against Sergei Bobrovsky of the Philadelphia Flyers. He scored twice during his first NHL tenure, directed 16 shots at the net, was credited with 17 hits and averaged nine minutes and 45 seconds of playing time.
