INCH A to Z: Danny Biega
The following article featuring Harvard defenseman Danny Biega appeared August 10 on the Inside College Hockey (INCH) Web site.
The above headline (Double O.D.B.'s) doesn't refer to the late Wu-Tang Clan rapper who went by a number of aliases (e.g. Dirt McGirt, Joe Bananas). Instead, it signifies that this installment of INCH A-Z features a pair of offensive defensemen whose last names start with the letter B. So read on and learn more about the methods these men—Harvard's Danny Biega and Nick Bruneteau of Vermont—employ. Watch them in action and you'll likely say to yourself, "Can it be all so simple?"
We'll roll out profiles in the coming weeks on players (and some coaches) you should get to know before the season starts.

DANNY BIEGA
Harvard
Jr. | D | Montreal, Quebec
Key Statistics: Biega led Harvard in scoring with 30 points on 11 goals and 19 assists. He ranked first among all defensemen in ECAC Hockey in league scoring.
His Impact: It’s impossible not to notice Biega when you watch the Crimson. He makes an impact in all situations and is on the ice as much as any player in the country. His point totals are significant, but he’s not a purely offensive-oriented player. Biega is also the team’s best defensive defenseman and can play a physical game that complements his skill.
