Perennial New Guy Moore Fitting In

SUNRISE - In his seven NHL seasons, Lightning center Dominic Moore's career has been similar to that of an Army brat — constantly moving from city to city and always trying to fit into new surroundings.
Since being selected by the New York Rangers in the third round of the 2000 NHL Entry draft out of Harvard, Moore's career transactions could fill a full sheet of college-ruled notebook paper.
• Traded by the Rangers to Nashville in exchange for Adam Hall on July 19, 2006;• Traded by Nashville along with Libor Pivko to Pittsburgh in exchange for a 2007 third-round draft pick on July 19, 2006;• Traded by Pittsburgh to Minnesota in exchange for a 2007 third-round pick on Feb. 27, 2007;• Claimed off waivers by Toronto from Minnesota on Jan. 11, 2008;• Traded by Toronto to Buffalo in exchange for a 2009 second-round pick on March 4, 2009;• Signed as a free agent by Florida on Oct. 4, 2009;• Traded by Florida to Montreal in exchange for a 2011 second-round pick on Feb. 11, 2010;• Signed as a two-year free agent by Tampa Bay on July 30, 2010;That adds up to eight organizations Moore has belonged to in the past five years, but it's not because he lacks talent or is considered a journeyman moving from town to town. In 374 career games, the 30-year-old has 45 goals and 128 points, is considered a solid defensive player and a good faceoff winner. Last season he was key to Montreal's run to the conference final by scoring four goals in 19 playoff games.
