Reese Called to Long Island
The New York Islanders announced today that former Harvard
defenseman Dylan Reese has been recalled from the
Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.
Reese, 26, is tied for the lead among Sound Tigers defensemen this
season with six points (1 goal, 5 assists) in 15 games. The
Pittsburgh, PA native made his National Hockey League debut with
the Islanders last year in his third professional season, netting
four points (two goals, two assists) in 19 games.
After a four year collegiate career at Harvard University, Reese
was drafted by the New York Rangers in the seventh round, 209th

6-1, 201-pound blue-liner in a trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets
on March 1, 2010.
