Islanders Return Reese to Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The New York Islanders announced Tuesday that former Harvard defenseman Dylan Reese has been returned on loan to the Sound Tigers.

Reese appeared in the Islanders' 5-0 loss at Nashville on Monday.

Reese made his National Hockey League debut with the Islanders last year during his third professional season, netting four points (two goals, two assists) in 19 games. After a four year collegiate career at Harvard, Reese was drafted by the New York Rangers in the seventh round, 209th overall, of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. The Islanders acquired the 6-1, 201-pound blue-liner in a trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets on March 1, 2010.
