Moore Downplays Clash with Old Mates

NEWS SPORTS REPORTER
Dominic Moore said the right things over and over. It’s just
another game tonight, made important only by the fact it could help
determine the Buffalo Sabres’ playoff chances.
He kept saying it, but few believed him. The Sabres are hosting
the Toronto Maple Leafs, the team that traded Moore to the Sabres
earlier this month. It’s his first appearance against his
former squad.
“That’s the way this league works,” Moore said
after practice in HSBC Arena. “Players change teams a lot.
You have to face your old teams. Again, it’s an important
game because it’s an important game for us in our drive to
make something happen here. That’s why it’s
important.”
