Team Notes: Last Year's Finalists Fight for Third Place in Beanpot

The Harvard men’s hockey team and No. 12 Boston College,
last season’s championship-game participants, meet in the
consolation game of the 57th Beanpot tournament Monday at 5 p.m. at
TD Banknorth Garden. The Crimson came within a second of taking No.
1 Boston University to overtime in its semifinal, while the Eagles
lost to No. 3 Northeastern, 6-1.

WHRB-FM 95.3 will have the radio broadcast of the game.
GoCrimson.com will link to live stats. The game will not be
televised, but the New England Sports Network will re-air last
season's championship against Boston College at 1 p.m. Monday,
followed by last week's semifinal against the No. 1 Terriers.
Behind the Bench
Former Crimson captain and 13-year NHL veteran Ted Donato
’91 is in his fifth season as The Robert D. Ziff ’88
Head Coach for Harvard Men’s Ice Hockey. He owns a 78-65-15
record, three ECAC title-game appearances and two NCAA tournament
bids.
