Team Notes: Crimson Host Bears in First Round

Seeking its ninth title, fifth-seeded Harvard men’s hockey
team begins its 41st appearance in the Bank of America ECAC Hockey
Championship with a first-round series against No. 12 seed Brown.
College hockey’s oldest rivals tied twice in the regular
season. They resume the rivalry Friday at 7 p.m., with Game 2
coming Saturday at 8 p.m. The deciding game will be Sunday at 8
p.m., if necessary.

Behind the Bench
Former Crimson captain and 13-year NHL veteran Ted Donato
’91 is in his fifth season as The Robert D. Ziff ’88
Head Coach for Harvard Men’s Ice Hockey. He owns a 82-66-17
record, three ECAC title-game appearances and two NCAA tournament
bids.
