Los Angeles Kings scout Bob Crocker was not looking forward to
shovelling the heavy snowfall outside his home in Centerville, Me.,
when the phone rang to change his mood yesterday.
The caller wanted to know about Toronto Maple Leafs forward
Dominic Moore, who, with two assists in the Leafs' 4-3 overtime
victory against the Atlanta Thrashers on Tuesday, pushed his season
point total to a career-high 19 with more than half a season
remaining.
"Any time someone wants to talk about Dominic, it's a good day and
a pleasure," said Crocker, who worked for the New York Rangers when
they selected Moore out of Harvard University 95th overall in the
2000 NHL entry draft.
