Crimson Characters: Mike Taylor

Taylor, is part of a year-long commitment to highlight Harvard's
captains and many other intriguing student-athletes.
Co-captain Mike
Taylor had a successful season in which he was named to the All-Ivy
League second team and was the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week for
February 11. Taylor finished the season with 12 goals, a team-high
23 assists and a +8 rating. He also totaled four game-winning goals
to tie for the team lead and finished his career on a 14-game point
streak.
Playing hockey in Minnesota gave Taylor numerous options coming out
of high school but Harvard was too good to pass up.
"I was considering the University of Minnesota, Notre Dame and
Colorado College, but after making my visits, Harvard was an easy
decision. Here you get a top-notch education and you get to play
hockey for a team that contends for the national title each year."
