Former Binghamton Senators captain Steve Martins admittedly hasn't spent much time on a baseball diamond.
OK, sure, there was that home run derby last summer with a minor league baseball team in northeastern Illinois, but even that didn't go quite as planned.
"It was very embarrassing for me, because I had never played baseball in my life," said Martins, a 13-year veteran of professional hockey. "Needless to say, I didn't hit any home runs."
