Lannon Excited About NHL Stint

JENKINS TWP. - Ryan Lannon waited years for his shot at the NHL, so even if he didn't get to play in a game during his 14-day stint with Pittsburgh earlier this month, you won't hear too many complaints from the third-year pro.
"It was a great couple of weeks," Lannon said after a recent practice at the Ice Box. "Obviously I was really excited to get the opportunity to go up there and play with those guys. I didn't get in a game, but I still feel like even just practicing at that level was something that was good for me - good for my confidence.
"I hope I can bring that down here and be a better player because of that."
