Harvard sophomore goaltender Kyle Richter not only reads his own press clippings, sometimes he creates them.
In addition to being one of the best goaltenders in the country - which was confirmed by his receipt of ECAC Hockey's goaltender of the year award - Richter, along with junior forward Jimmy Fraser, hosts the Top Shelf radio show on Harvard's WHRB-FM. The show is taped during the week and runs during the intermissions of games.
"It's fun," said Richter, who inherited the show from former Crimson players Dylan Reese and Steve Mandes. "We talk a little bit about hockey, recap the last week's games, talk about our games coming up, and maybe we'll talk about some funny things that happen to the guys on the team.
