Adams Heading to Windy City
CHICAGO -- Chicago General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Blackhawks have obtained former Harvard forward Craig Adams from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
Adams, 30, stands at 6'0 tall and weighs 200 pounds and is in
his seventh season in the NHL. He has appeared in a total of 427
games during his career scoring 33 goals and 44 assists for 77
points and 337 penalty minutes.
In 40 games with the Hurricanes this season, Adams has two goals
and three assists for five points and 34 penalty minutes. Adams was
a member of the Hurricanes' Stanley Cup Championship team in
2005-06.
The Blackhawks next home game is on Thursday, January 24 at 7:30 p.m. against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
