JENKINS TWP. -- Ben Lovejoy lost a teammate when defenseman Ryan Lannon was called up to Pittsburgh along with winger Ryan Stone on Monday, but he may have gained a few extra dollars in the process.
"Hopefully he's up for a while and doesn't need rent checks from
us," joked Lovejoy, who shares a house with Lannon and Alex
Goligoski.
Smiles and laughs were the order of the day at Penguins practice at
the Ice Box because while replacing key players like Lannon and
Stone won't be easy, their call-ups are seen as well deserved.
