Unlikely Line Conjures a Little Unexpected Magic

Serendipity is not a word associated with the Toronto Maple Leafs of late, although Robbie Earl, Dominic Moore and Boyd Devereaux may beg to differ.
Thrown together on a line because of the Leafs' astonishing run of bad luck, which followed a run of bad hockey, which followed a run of bad planning, the trio rewarded their teammates and head coach Paul Maurice with a little magic on Saturday.
They were the Leafs' best line in a 4-2 win over the Ottawa Senators - a game in which both teams iced patchwork lineups thanks to injuries.
