WORCESTER- Sometimes - and any golfer who has ever tried to figure out the mysteries of putting knows this - it seems as though everything is luck.

Which might explain why Sharks forward Tom Cavanagh scored two goals yesterday after going 19 games in a row without getting even one. Cavanagh's first goal was just a good shot from a good spot, but his second one - that's where the luck comes in.

With Worcester down, 4-2, in the third period, Cavanagh took a shot that missed the net, hit the bottom of the boards behind Lowell goalie Frank Doyle, and took a crazy bounce back. As Doyle retreated to protect the post, the puck hit his skate and went in.
