Bala Back with Reading
READING, PA -- The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the
Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester
Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that the
team has signed former Harvard forward Chris Bala.
Bala (6'1"/195) (29), a seventh year pro from Pottstown,
Pennsylvania, has played two games with the Royals this season.
Bala, who served as the Royals' team captain last year, did not
register a point on November 21 in Trenton, New Jersey (a 3-2 loss
for the Royals) or on November 23 when the Royals defeated the
Columbia Inferno 3-2 at the Sovereign Center.
The Royals return to action tonight (Saturday, December 22 at 7:05 pm) when the Dayton Bombers visit the Sovereign Center.
