Feature: Sparkplug Cavanagh Chip Off Old Block

The following feature article on former Harvard forward Tom Cavanagh appeared in the December 20 issue of the Worcester Telegram.
Hockey is one of those relative things, as in most people who
play the game also have relatives who do, like Sharks forward Tom
Cavanagh.
He is one of five hockey-playing Cavanagh brothers, and those five
brothers comprise a little more than half of the nine children in
the Cavanagh family. Tom is the middle brother and, to date, the
only one to make a living at the game.
They are all sons of Joe Cavanagh, a Rhode Island attorney who is
considered to have been one of the best hockey players ever to wear
the Crimson at Harvard University and a member of the school's
athletic Hall of Fame.
