Jones Garners Dartmouth Athlete-of-the-Week Honors
Senior Doug Jones was a key contributor for the Big Green men's hockey team, scoring the gamewinner in overtime against Colgate. His performance earned him DartmouthSports.com athlete of the week honors.

Doug Jones, (Marietta, Ga.) Sr., F, Men's Hockey
The senior winger was a key contributor in the Big Green's weekend split with No. 9 Cornell and No. 18 Colgate on the road. Jones scored a power-play goal Friday against the Big Red before a three-point night on Saturday in Hamilton against the Raiders. With the Big Green trailing by three, 4-1, entering the third period, Jones had two assists in the final two minutes to help force overtime where he scored the winner halfway through the extra session. His performance this weekend moved him into a tie for the team lead in scoring this season with 14 points (6g/8a) and four-points shy of becoming the 26th player in program history with 100 in his career (24g/72a).
