The last time Nick Boucher was picked to play in an all-star game, he had to miss it. He hasn't missed much this year and will start in goal at the Central Hockey League All-Star Game on Jan. 11 in Arizona. His selection in a voting by league personnel and media was announced today.
"It was a goal of mine since the start of the season, and I think I'm having a pretty good season,'' Boucher said. "I'm pretty proud to go. I have some other goals I want to reach, but I'm definitely proud of making this one.''
Boucher leads all CHL goaltenders with a 15-4-1 record, a 2.30 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage. He won the voting in a landslide.
