A Goggin Tradition
The following article featuring Dartmouth forward Connor Goggin appeared November 28 on the Dartmouth Web site.
On the eve of the first road trip, senior Connor Goggin (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) took to his usual spot on the bus. He wore his usual green nylon tracksuit. He watched the usual assortment of movies and ate the usual food served ordered by team equipment manager, Brian Corcoran.
There is nothing unusual about this behavior for Connor. It's not the first time he has stepped on a bus to head out on the road with the Big Green. And the 2011-12 season certainly won't be the last time a Goggin does either.
Connor's younger brother, junior Mark Goggin (Glen Ellyn, Ill.), is also a member of the Dartmouth men's hockey team. He didn't come to Hanover and the College on the Hill to follow his brother, but, much like what Connor did, to continue a Goggin family tradition that has now spanned three generations.
