Jessiman Makes NHL Debut
Former Dartmouth forward Hugh Jessiman joined a growing list of ECAC Hockey alums to reach the National Hockey League (NHL) when he made his debut with the Florida Panthers in a 2-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils Sunday.
The 26-year old registered two shots on goal in nine minutes, 31 seconds of ice time for the Panthers. He realized 12 shifts on Florida's offensive lines.
A first-round selection (12th overall) of the New York Rangers in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Jessiman has seen action in 348 American Hockey League games since 2005-06 scoring 149 points (76 goals, 73 assists).
