Johnson Working Way Back from Concussion

The following article featuring former Dartmouth standout Nick Johnson appeared in the September 17 issue of the Citizens Voice.

PITTSBURGH - All summer long, it seemed the No. 1 topic of conversation in Penguins hockey circles was concussions, specifically the one from which captain Sidney Crosby still suffers.

When Crosby discussed the details of the injury - the fogginess, the uncertainty of when symptoms would pop back up - Nick Johnson and Eric Tangradi could relate.

Last year, Johnson's season ended with a concussion Feb. 16 in Colorado and Tangradi played just two games - one in the regular season and one in the playoffs - after he was concussed Feb. 11 on Long Island.
