Glass Takes Nothing for Granted

The following article featuring former Dartmouth standout Tanner Glass appeared in the January 13 issue of the Province.

Tanner Glass didn’t need his Ivy League education to understand that nothing, absolutely nothing, was going to come easy for him.

When he was taken in the ninth round of the 2003 draft, Florida Panthers general manager Rick Dudley welcomed him to the organization with the following inspirational message:

“I saw you three times. The first time you were OK. The second time you were sick. And the third time you played like s--t. But we’re still going to take you.”
