Stempniak Looking for a Place to Settle

Lee Stempniak grew up in West Seneca, N.Y., played junior hockey in Buffalo, college in Dartmouth, had a cup of tea in Peoria and has donned the NHL jerseys of the St. Louis Blues, Toronto Maple Leafs, Phoenix Coyotes and, now, the Calgary Flames.
So, yeah, the 28-year-old wouldn’t mind sinking down some roots and the swift winger admits he’d love nothing better than to finish off his career here.
“I really like it here in Calgary,” he said, prior to the team’s departure Wednesday for a three-game road trip. “I think the Flames organization is unbelievable, the way they treat people, the family-first atmosphere. As a player you appreciate that.
