TORONTO — Tanner Glass knows a thing or two about playing in a rabid Canadian hockey market.
The new Winnipeg Jets forward, who was signed to a one-year, US$750,000 contract on Friday, held a conference call with reporters on Saturday and talked about being under the microscope during the upcoming season.
“When Winnipeg came up as an option, being the first season and being so close to home, it was a good fit for me and I’m really excited to be a part of it,” said Glass, a 27-year-old from Regina.
