Ten Big Green Attend NHL Development Camps
HANOVER, N.H. – Ten members of the 2010-11 Dartmouth men's hockey team attended NHL Development Camps over the summer. Joe Stejskal (Grand Rapids, Minn.), Dustin Walsh (Shannonville, Ont.), Scott Fleming (Plainfield, Ont.), Matt Reber (Edina, Minn.), Adam Estoclet (Orono, Minn.), Jody O'Neill (Nepean, Ont.), Evan Stephens (Bessemer, Mich.), Mark Goggin (Glen Ellyn, Ill.), Doug Jones (Marietta, Ga.) and Danny Markowitz (Jericho, N.Y.) all earned invites to camps.
Stejskal and Walsh were the only ones drafted by the team whose camp they attended. Drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the fifth round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Stejskal will be an assistant captain for the Big Green in his senior season. Walsh was drafted by the Canadiens in 2009 but was unable to attend the camp.
Attending other camps were Fleming with Columbus, Reber with Toronto, Estoclet and O'Neill with Chicago, Stephens with Anaheim, Goggin with Boston, Jones with San Jose and Markowitz with the New York Islanders.
In the summer of 2009, Kyle Reeds (St. Lous, Mo.) attended camp for St Louis while incoming goaltender Cab Morris (Wilmette, Ill.) was invited to Chicago's camp with Connor Goggin (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) attending camp for Boston in the summer of 2008.
