GLENDALE -- New Coyotes forward Lee Stempniak continues
to score goals at an impressive pace.
Stempniak notched his 22nd and 23rd goals of the season in the
third period Saturday night to help the Coyotes rally for a 5-4
shootout win over Chicago and extend their season-long victory
streak to eight games in front of a sellout crowd of 17,534 at
Jobing.com Arena.
Since joining the Coyotes in a trade-deadline deal on March 3, Stempniak has registered nine goals in eight games. In 62 games with Toronto before the trade, Stempniak scored 14 goals.
