Stempniak Finds a Perfect Fit

CHICAGO - It look Lee Stempniak about six minutes to score his first goal with the Coyotes and show that acquiring him at the trade deadline was a shrewd move.
Stempniak, a right wing, has nine goals and 11 points in nine games - all victories - but he also has helped fashion a dependable line with center Vernon Fiddler and Taylor Pyatt.
"It feels good to contribute," said Stempniak, who has 23 goals and 18 assists, including his time in Toronto. "I know I can score goals and contribute offensively - I've done it before. And I guess I was fortunate to come in and find chemistry right away. It's nice to have success early. It takes some of the burden off."
