PHOENIX, AZ -- Lee Stempniak may have found his hockey home in Phoenix.
After going on a streak of 14 goals in 18 games after being traded from Toronto last season, Stempniak elected to sign a two-year deal with Phoenix after a summer of free agency.
The 27-year-old's quiet, unassuming personality meshes well with his blue collar team that is looking to make some noise in the playoffs this season. Oh, and by the way, he loves his dog. Who can resist that? Certainly not the Coyotes fans, with whom Stempniak has ingratiated himself.
