One way to tell when Komets goaltender Nick Boucher is getting
into a groove is by his road record.
Boucher has been battling hand and leg injuries this season, but
he won 6-2 Saturday night in Bloomington as he made 41 saves.
Besides winning two Turner Cups so far, Boucher will always be
known in Fort Wayne for his outstanding play away from home. He's
5-3-0 on the road this season so far, he was 16-6-2 in 2008-09 and
he was 13-1-3 in 2007-08. His goals-against averages and save
percentages are also slightly better on the road than at home.
