Team Notes: Dartmouth Travels for Matchups with Rensselaer and Union

HANOVER, N.H. ­ The Dartmouth men's hockey team hits the road for a full weekend of ECAC Hockey games as the Big Green begins the final push of the 2009-10 season. Dartmouth is looking to get back on the winning side of things, starting off with Rensselaer on Friday at 7 p.m. and then at Union on Saturday at 7 p.m.

THIS WEEKEND'S GAMES

Dartmouth travels to Albany to take on ECAC Hockey foes, Rensselaer and Union.
The Big Green is looking to get back on track in the league.

DARTMOUTH-RPI SERIES
Dartmouth and Rensselaer have been meeting since a 4-4 tie on Jan. 17, 1908 in Albany. RPI ended the first half of the series leading, 33-16-3 but in the last 10 years the Big Green has come on, winning 18 of the 30 matchups. Currently the Engineers hold the lead in the overall series, 35-29-5. Last season Dartmouth won both regular-series meetings but RPI defeated the Big Green in the first round of the ECAC playoffs.
