Ben Lovejoy has discovered over the past few months just how difficult it is to play defense in the NHL.
And how it usually is even tougher not to play.
Lovejoy has been a healthy scratch for 16 of the Penguins' past 21 games, and has spent most of the season as their No. 7 defenseman.
