Team Notes: Dartmouth Concludes Home Portion of Season

HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth men's hockey team hosts
Colgate and Cornell for its last regular home weekend of the
2009-10 season. The Big Green will also be saying goodbye for four
of its seniors on Saturday night after the game against the Big
Red. Dartmouth is needing some valuable league points as playoffs
are just around the corner.
DARTMOUTH-COLGATE SERIES
Colgate and Dartmouth have one of the most evenly matched series
the Big Green plays in. The two teams began meeting in 1929 as
Dartmouth opened up with an 8-1 victory. The Big Green began the
series with 11 straight wins and currently leads in the series
40-39-4. Earlier this season the Raiders took a 3-2 victory over
Dartmouth in Hamilton.
SCOUTING COLGATE
Colgate brings a 12-13-5 overall record and a 9-8-1 ECAC Hockey
record to Hanover this weekend. The Raiders just recently lost to
Cornell, 6-2 before splitting last weekend to Yale (3-6) and Brown
(6-2). Colgate has won or tied six of its last 10 games. The
Raiders sit in sixth place in the league standings with 18 points.
