ALBANY, N.Y. -- In conjunction with the beginning of the 49th

set of 2009-10 postseason awards was announced by the ECAC Hockey

League’s coaches, three all-league teams and an all-rookie
team were named.
Stephens earns his second ECAC Third Team honors in three seasons.
As a freshmen the Bessemer, Mich. native was chosen third team as
well as being named to the All-Rookie team.
This season Stephens has been the Big Green's top scoring
defenseman and currently has 19 points. He finished the regular
season as the league's second highest scoring blueliner and is 24th
nationally. He is just Dartmouth's second defenseman to earn all
league honors in the past seven seasons.
Dartmouth started the year slow but has come on strong in the
month of February. Currently the Big Green has won or tied six of
its last eight games and is headed to Quinnipiac for the first
round of the ECAC playoffs. Dartmouth takes on the Bobcats this
weekend in a best-of-three series.
