Injury Sidelines Galiardi
The following article featuring T. J. Galiardi, who played at Dartmouth, appeared in the October 31 issue of the Denver Post.
SAN JOSE, Calif. — The Avalanche will be without the
services of rookie T.J. Galiardi for four to six weeks.
Galiardi's right ankle injury, suffered in the second period of
Wednesday's game against Calgary, worsened to the point where he
needs a walking cast. The Avs listed no specifics about the injury,
but it is believed to be at least a high ankle sprain.
"It's another opportunity for a different player to come in and
see what he can do," Avs coach Joe Sacco said.
