Penguins Send Lovejoy to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton
The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned former Dartmouth
defensemen Ben Lovejoy to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American
Hockey League, it was announced by Executive Vice President and
General Manager Ray Shero.
In eight games with Pittsburgh, Lovejoy collected three assists
and a plus-5 rating. During his stint, Lovejoy saw action on the
Penguins’ power-play and penalty-killing units while
averaging nearly 18 minutes per game (17:53). Lovejoy notched his
first career NHL point (an assist) Nov. 14 vs. Boston.
