The Avalanche suffered another blow to its lineup Wednesday when
promising young winger David Jones was diagnosed with a shoulder
injury and will be out indefinitely.
Jones, whose play was improving as the season went along, was hurt
after being hit into the boards by San Jose's Douglas Murray in the
second period of Tuesday's 3-0 victory by the Sharks.
