HANOVER, N.H. - On this Thanksgiving weekend the Dartmouth men's
hockey team is looking to add more things to be thankful about by
trying to get victories in two non-conference contests. The Big
Green captured its first win of the 2009-10 season and would like
to add more to that column as Dartmouth takes on Providence and
then Harvard on Friday at 7:00 and then Sunday at 4:00 pm.
THIS WEEKEND'S GAMES
The Dartmouth men's hockey team looks to continue on the right
path and pick up a victory over its first nonconference opponent on
Friday against Providence.
Then on Saturday, Dartmouth takes on an unconventional nonleague
opponent in Harvard.
SERIES HISTORY
The series between Providence and Dartmouth began on March 5, 1953
and the two have met 22 times since then. The Friars lead in the
overall series, 14-9-0 but the Big Green has won most of the recent
meetings. Dartmouth has won five of the last seven meetings
including a 4-2 victory in Providence last season.
