Team Notes: Dartmouth to Battle Harvard on National Television

HANOVER, N.H. -- The Dartmouth men's hockey is set to take on
one of its oldest rivals on Sunday when the Harvard Crimson come to
town. Game time is slated for 4:00 pm as the game will be broadcast
live on ESPNU. The Big Green is looking at getting back at the
Crimson for the 4-1 defeat in the first game of the season for both
squads. Dartmouth is coming off a 2-2 tie to Holy Cross while
Harvard has not won a game since Nov. 15.
SCOUTING HARVARD
The Harvard Crimson come into Thompson Arena not having won a game
since Nov. 15. The Crimson are currently on a 12-game nonwinning
streak and are currently sixth in the ECAC. Harvard opened its
season with a 4-1 victory over the Big Green but has struggled
since, earning victories over just three more opponents. Leading
the way for the Crimson is Alex Biega and Alex Killorn, both with
10 points. Biega, Killorn and Doug Rogers are all tops with seven
assists while Nick Coskren is the leading goal scorer with five. In
net Matt Hoyle has shouldered most of the burden, appearing in 17
games while John Riley has played in five and Ryan Carroll in two.
Hoyle currently has a 3.23 GAA and an .894 save percentage. Riley
has a 3.14 GAA and an .898 save percentage while Carroll has a 7.34
GAA and an .850 save percentage.
VERSUS HARVARD
Harvard leads in the overall series, 123-53-8. The two teams began
meeting on Feb. 16, 1907 with a 12-4 Crimson victory. Harvard has
had the most recent success as the Big Green has won just three
times in the last 10 meetings. Since Bob Gaudet took over the reins
of his alma mater his teams have gone 4-22-3.
