Lightning Strikes Big Green as Boldt Named Captain
The following article featuring Dartmouth defenseman Peter Boldt appeared in the March 20 issue of the Greenwich Post.
By Paul Silverfarb
It’s only March and already Greenwich resident Peter Boldt
can’t wait to drop the puck on another season with the
Dartmouth men’s ice hockey team.
And with good reason. Not only is Boldt, a lifelong Greenwich
resident who attended North Street School and Greenwich Country Day
School, going to play his senior year with Big Green, but Boldt has
the honor of being named the team’s 129th captain in the
school’s 104-year history.
“It’s an amazing honor,” said Boldt, who plays
defense for Dartmouth. “It gives you confidence going into
next year that these guys believe in you and think you’re
going to do a great job. It lets me know that what I’ve done
for the past three years is what I need to do next year. The way
that I have been helping this team has been right for the past
three years and I will continue to do that next year the same
way.”
