PITTSBURGH - After winger Nick Johnson wrapped up a
battery of physical tests Friday morning on the first day of
training camp, he turned back and pointed to the part of the
medical center where some other Pittsburgh Penguins players were
still working out.
"I was just in there, looking around, thinking, 'That's the best
team in the world in there,'" Johnson said. "It will be exciting to
get on the ice this week and test myself against those guys."
Johnson was looking at the bright side of being a young roster
hopeful at the training camp of the defending Stanley Cup
champions.
