Jones Provides Spark in Return
The following article featuring former Dartmouth standout David Jones appeared October 12 on the Colorado Avalanche Web site.

Right wing David Jones made his season debut on Monday afternoon
against the Boston Bruins, and it’s safe to say that his
teammates are glad he’s back in the lineup.
Jones, who suffered a chest injury on Sept. 23 in a preseason tilt
against the Los Angeles Kings, scored a goal and added an assist in
his first action of the regular season as Colorado downed Boston,
4-3.
Jones had a shot on goal during each of his first three shifts
today, the last of which helped give Colorado a 2-0 advantage. With
the Avs already up a goal, Jones drove into the Boston zone and
unleashed a slap shot from just above the right circle. Boston
netminder Tuukka Rask stopped the attempt, but Scott Hannan found
himself all alone and knocked home the rebound.
