Dartmouth to Host Toy Drive
HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth men's hockey team will be hosting
its annual toy drive for the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth
(CHaD) during the Sacred Heart game at 4 p.m. Sunday, December 13.
The game will also be military appreciation and faculty/staff
day.
Fans are encouraged to bring any new, unwrapped toys to the tables
provided at Thompson Arena. For any fan that brings a toy they will
have an opportunity to register for a men's hockey jersey and team
photo that will be signed by the entire team. Both items will be
raffled off during the game.
Fans with military identification will be allowed to enter the
game for free and those with questions should contact the athletic
marketing office at (603) 646-0418.
For questions about faculty/staff day call the Dartmouth ticket
office at (603) 646-3949.
The toys will be given away by the team when it makes its special
trip to CHaD next week. "We really enjoy our visit to CHaD and the
opportunity to do something for the community," said senior captain
Peter Boldt. "It's nice to see our fans come out and support CHaD
with the toys and it's an even better time to get together as a
team and go play with the kids."
