Dartmouth Announces All-Academic Squad
HANOVER, N.H. - One hundred sixty-seven student-athletes representing the ECAC Hockey's 12 men's programs were named to the 2008-09 ECAC Hockey All-Academic team. Dartmouth had 15 players named to the team with six repeat honorees.
Ninety of this year's student-athletes were also named to the team last year and 44 have the distinction of receiving the honor the last three seasons. Of the 12 institutions, Brown leads the way with 24 honorees, followed by Rensselaer with 19, and Quinnipiac with 17.
Players are eligible for the All-Academic team if they earn a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have a GPA over 3.00 over the past three semesters.
