Hockey players pride themselves on being tough.
Most are missing teeth. Most have facial scars. And most have
played through pain. But while many have had the pleasure of
sitting on the bench while a wannabe doctor sews their skin back
together in time for the next shift, a crack in a player's
confidence can be tougher to repair.
