FORT WAYNE, IN — The International Hockey League (IHL) announced Wednesday that Fort Wayne Komets goaltender Nick Boucher, a former Dartmouth standout, has been named the Southern Sports Supply IHL Goaltender of the Month for March. The announcement comes on the heels of Boucher's third straight Goaltender of the Week award.

Boucher, 28, appeared in 13 of 15 Komet games during March posting an 11-1-0-1 record while allowing 18 goals for a 1.44 goals-against average and stopping 378 of 396 shots for a .955 save percentage. Boucher also recorded two shutouts during the month.

The netminder completed March with an 11-game unbeaten streak (10-0-0-1) and six-game winning streak. Boucher currently leads IHL goalies with a 2.40 goals-against average and .921 save percentage in 49 appearances for the season.

The award is Boucher's fourth career IHL monthly award after receiving the honor three times during 2007-08.
